(A very simple and effective method Working)

Problem ..??

 "" i had to uninstall aoe3 and warchiefs to free up some space on my laptop, but the games wouldn't uninstall for some reason via add/remove or the uninstall option on the game menu. so i decided to deleted the program files for the two which did free up the space (duh) but now i want to play it again. i installed aoe3 successfully but i keep getting an error when warchiefs uninstall before installing....i get 0x80040702 description: fail to load dll: firewallinstallhelper """

It took me a day to configure out this after i tried everything available on the net..

i did everything including clearing the registry nd then trying to un-install it from default manager plus some other un-installer..!!

Solution ..!! :)

  Follow these simple steps :-

-Open your WC cd contents using the windows explorer,

-Find the .rar file named "The_Wa~1"

-Open it and extract it via any .rar manager

-find the files named "firewallinstallhelper.dll" & "gameuxinstallhelper.dll"

-extract these two files anywhere ,

-then copy them and paste them into your windows directory .. (eg c:\windows\ )

-Now try it un-installing conventionally either from control panel or from the cd ..

-This should get you done with the uninstalling process..!!
